Yes, I have to admit that I’m a chocoholic. Because of that I don’t want to leave out a single recipe for chocolate cookies in my recipe collection.
This recipe is easy and quick to make and it is good to always have some cookies in stock. You never know who will surprise you with a spontaneous visit.
Recipe
1 egg
130 g brown sugar
2 packages vanilla sugar
150 g butter at room temperature
150 g flour
25 g chocolate powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
150 g chocolate (70 %) – chopped finely
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Prepare 2 baking trays ( with butter or baking paper).
Mix egg, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the butter. Mix flour, chocolate powder, baking powder and salt. Add the flour mixture to the first one. At last stir in the chopped chocolate pieces.
With a teaspoon or a tablespoon (it depends on how large you like to have the cookies)
put heaps of the dough on the baking tray. Be aware that the dough will expand while baking, because the butter and chocolate are melting. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes and let them cool down.
