The Bakery Project – Diary – 08
The last few weeks were very busy in the bakery. I moved from the sweet bakery department one level upstairs to the packaging department. On that level I arranged my little photostudio.
The Black Forest Bakery is working on a brand relaunch. They already have a new logo and a homepage. Now they need product shots of all their baked goods. I offered to help them. It was possible, thanks to the support of my brother, he was so kind to lend me his camera. So a new era in the bakery started for me. In the bakery I visited the factory shop and different bakers to bring all the baking goods upstairs to the photo studio to take a picture of them. That meant that I climbed upstairs, downstairs, upstairs, downstairs all day between two levels on narrow stairs. Sometimes I was really out of breath. I believe some of the bakers wondered what I was doing with all the decoration stuff I brought with me and which I collected in the bakery. But all in all it was fun for me and now I know each corner in the bakery and got in contact with many of the employees.
