This year the Black Forest Bakery is offering a Gingerbread House. The package contains the walls and the roof out of ginger bread – additional a christmas tree.
People have the opportunity to build this little cute house themself and to be creative in decorating.The house in the picture is only an example how it could look like. Particulary decorating together with kids should be fun.
If you are not living in Johannesburg to buy the gingerbread house to build yourself you can use my recipe to bake the parts of the house yourself. On the picture below you can see the individual parts you will need. Make your own pattern out of paper and cut the parts out of the dough before baking. Decorate the house with icing sugar mixed with egg white. Then decorate all with sweets and cookies.
